The practice is involved in medical education. Doctors gain post-graduation experience in family practice work, in the centre, as part of their training programme. Medical students also attend for short periods to learn something about general practice. Occasionally, consultations are video-taped for educational and research purposes, but you will be informed and your permission sought before the consultation. If you have any objection the recorder will be switched off.

Unwell Children

A child with a temperature or a rash may be best seen in the Medical Centre where we have equipment for tests and special treatment. If you think that your child is infectious, please tell the receptionist who will arrange for you to wait away from other people and to be seen quickly.
