Polio Vaccination

Children aged 1-9 in London are to be offered a dose of Polio Vaccine, full guidance on delivery and vaccine supply is awaited.  Please be assured that all eligible patients will be invited by the NHS.

How to Access Your COVID-19 Vaccination Status for Travel Purposes

You can access your COVID-19 vaccination status through the free NHS App . You can access the app through mobile devices such as a smartphone or tablet. Proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status will be shown within the NHS App. We recommend that you register with the app before booking international travel.

If you do not have access to a smartphone and know that the country you are travelling to requires COVID-19 vaccination status, you can call the NHS helpline on 119 and ask for a letter to be posted to you. This must be at least 5 working days after you’ve completed your course of the vaccine. We expect the letter to take up to 5 working days to reach you.

The letter will be sent automatically to the address registered with your GP. The 119 call handler you speak to will not be able to see your address to check this with you. If you’ve recently moved house, make sure you’ve given your new address to your GP practice before calling 119.

Please do not contact us about your COVID-19 vaccination status. GPs cannot provide letters showing your COVID-19.

Please click here for up to date government guidance.

NHS Covid-19 Vaccination Programme

NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme is ongoing in the UK.

When appropriate, you will receive an invitation to book.

Please do not call us to get an appointment until you are invited.

Information on the vaccine is available on the NHS.UK website. For anything else, your GP surgery is open and if you need to get in touch, please ring us or visit our website. Please do not come to the surgery unless you have an appointment.

Appointment System Update

We are now offering patients the choice of a telephone consultation or face to face appointment. If you have symptoms of covid or diarrhoea or vomiting we would ask that you continue to book a telephone appointment so we can reduce the risk of spreading infections to vulnerable patients who may be in the waiting room. We continue to offer online consultations for simple issues, this service can be accessed through our website.

Online Booking of Appointments

We are please to announce that patients can now book telephone consultations via online services. All patients are offered telephone consultation as a first step. We continue to offer face to face appointments where necessary, following a telephone consultation with a clinician. You can register for the online booking service via the NHS App.

Changes to Our Appointment System Following Coronavirus

Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak we have changed the way we are providing care to our patients. In order to protect people we need to minimise the number of patients coming in through the practice. We will be offering telephone appointments, video appointments and still have some face to face appointments but only for people who have spoken with a Nurse or Doctor first. We are trying to work with technology to make this better for everybody; this will mean moving as many prescriptions as possible to electronic prescribing and posting out medical certificates.

We understand that many people will be very worried and affected by this and we want to reassure you that we are working hard behind the scenes to deliver a safe service. We will be updating the website regularly with sources of information that we think will be helpful.
